Hampshire Company Helps Youth Charity Post Profits

Romsey business Allied Office Machines has given a state-of-the-art franking machine to Hants & Isle of Wight charity Youth Options to improve their funding campaigns and so help them raise more money more quickly!

The Winchester-based charity works with young people from all sorts of backgrounds, and depends on the success of over 4,800 mailings a year to raise the essential funds they need to help improve the lives of over 30,000 youngsters across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

The franking machine will not only save them the 20% surcharge for manual mailings; it will also speed up their operation and be more professional all-round.

Mark Dixon, Chief Executive of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Youth Options said “We are delighted with this valuable contribution from Allied Office Machines, which has made our life so much easier in respect of mail-shots and general postage. It is also nice to receive support from a local company who have acknowledged the work that we do and are contributing to the continued success of our organization.”

Steve Green, Sales Director of Romsey-based Allied Office Machines who provide copying, printing and scanning solutions to many businesses and organisations throughout the South, adds “We are pleased to be able to save Youth Options a lot of time and money particularly now that the Post Office is changing its pricing policy to include Pricing in Proportion (PiP) which comes in into effect in August this year.”
